Leadership Putnam County graduates being recognized

There will be a breakfast and reception at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane to recognize the 2010 graduates of Leadership Putnam County.

State Senate Minority Leader Mike Hall, R-Putnam, will be the featured speaker. There also will be a slide show of Leadership Putnam County activities.

The leadership development program is in its 21st year. This year there were 12 participants. They attended nine classes, consisting of on-site visits and presentations by community representatives from local governments and area businesses.

This year's graduates and their work affiliations: Tom Tucker of American Electric Power's  John Amos Plant; Thomas Boggs of West Virginia American Water Co.; Andy DeHart of Centerpointe Church; Deborah Lilly of Pray Construction Co.; Eric Reckard of The Greenhouse of Teays Valley; Scott Byars of West Virginia State University Extension Service; Troy Dunn of City National Bank; Jay Miller of Huntington Banks; Jon Webster of American Electric Power's John Amos Plant; Caitrin Craig of the Putnam County Development Authority; Tammy Krisher of KOMAX Business Systems; and Marilyn Pemberton of the Putnam County Rotary Club. The breakfast and reception is open to all members of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, past leadership class participants, class sponsors and class presenters. The cost is $12 for breakfast.
