By From staff reports

A Charleston man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Poca, said Putnam County Sheriff Mark Smith.

The victim was Colter Wesley Anderson, 29, of Dupont Road in Poca, Smith said.

Anderson was shot in the leg at his home about 6 a.m. on Monday and taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released, Smith said.

Andrew Dewayne Hodge, 29, of Charleston, was arrested about three hours later by Charleston Police and taken to the South Central Regional Jail, Smith said.

"The victim's sister was dating the suspect," Smith said. "The suspect shot the girl's brother. It was a domestic issue."

According to the jail website, bond has been set at $100,000 for Hodge.
