Suspect in robbery of Buffalo Food-King sought

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Law enforcement officers are searching for a man who robbed the Buffalo Food-King along W.Va. 62 over the weekend, Putnam County Sheriff Steve Deweese said.

Just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday, a man entered the grocery store, brandished a knife and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black mask over his face.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash across W.Va. 62 into Buffalo. Anyone with information is asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff's Department at 304-586-0214.
