CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A 50-year-old Putnam County man was sentenced to 18 years in prison for selling prescription painkillers.
Terry Lee Hagan of Culloden was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Huntington. He pleaded guilty last month of distribution of oxycodone.
An extensive criminal record and a history of drug sales combined to produce Hagan's lengthy sentence, according to U.S. District Attorney Booth Goodwin.
On May 29, 2012, Hagan sold six oxycodone pills for $225 to an undercover informant. The transaction took place at his residence.
He was previously convicted of five felonies in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
