An early morning tractor-trailer crash in Putnam County shut down two lanes of Interstate 64 for about eight hours.
Putnam County dispatchers say the driver of the tractor trailer sustained minor injuries and was transported to Teays Valley Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The wreck happened about 1:19 a.m. Monday between Scott Depot and St. Albans. Dispatch officials say the driver hit a few deer, crashed and spilled diesel fuel over the road.
Both lanes were opened and the fuel was cleaned up by 9:45 a.m.
