"The mountain biking has been my favorite part so far, but there's still more to check out."
John Rehm, 20, a past Order of the Arrow national chief who is now part of the national media team, said The Summit is unlike anything he's ever seen before.
"We're having a blast; there's so much to do," he said. "It's a great opportunity for the Scouts, and I think everyone is enjoying themselves."
The Boy Scout Jamboree will run through July 24.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin thanked the Scouts for coming and encouraged them to take the time to get to know the people in the state.
"We're honored to have you in West Virginia ... You always have a home here among the hills."
