Though thousands of Boy Scouts from all over the globe have packed up and gone home, a few with ties to the group have taken up permanent residence at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.
Stephen D. Bechtel Jr., Walter Scott, Jim Justice, J.W. and Hazel Ruby, Sen. Joe Manchin, Wayne Perry, Jack Furst, Bob Mazucca and Lonnie C. Poole Jr. will remain at the site - covered in bronze.
The larger-than-life-sized statues were revealed during the 2013 National Jamboree and depict some of the major donors and supporters of the site.
West Texas native and current Arizona resident Tom White, who is credited as being among the most formidable artists in today's contemporary arena, constructed most of the statues.
