Interstate 77 near Sissonville sustained significant damage after a gas line exploded Tuesday. The heat from the fire caused the interstate to crumble. Crews with West Virginia Paving were called in to mill and pave the 800-foot section.
Interstate 77 has reopened in both directions in West Virginia after crews worked through the night to repair damage from a massive natural gas line explosion and fire.
