BREAKING: Shots fired from inside South Hills home
Members of the State Police, the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department, and Charleston Police all responded to 105 Cornwall Lane for a shooting incident there on Aug. 12. Local attorney Mark Bramble, the homeowner, fired 48 rounds from multiple weapons that day. No one was injured.
Several police units responded to the incident at 105 Cornwall Lane on Monday morning.
Law enforcement vehicles and firetrucks blocked the entrance to Sherwood Forest off Corridor G on Monday morning after a man began firing shots inside a home nearby.
Thomas White, 40, a resident of Cornwall Lane described what happened during the shooting incident in the South Hills neighborhood Monday. White said his wife was driving by just as the woman came out of the home as the shooting was happening. White's wife then called him and told him to barricade himself in the house and get the gun. 'I was literally barricaded in the home with a gun, we thought he was outside shooting,' White said.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department's armored vehicle makes its way up Sherwood Forest Drive Monday.
