Former GOP delegate turned Democrat Sheirl Fletcher is again running for U.S. Senate.
The Morgantown mother of two filed Monday with the Secretary of State, according to the agency's website.
From 1998 to 2002, Fletcher served two terms in the West Virginia House of Delegates as a Republican. She changed her party affiliation in 2003.
Fletcher has been defeated in three previous Senate campaigns.
She first lost to U.S Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., in 2008. In 2010 she lost to then-governor and current U.S. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va. in the special election to fill the seat held by the late U.S. Sen. Robert C. Byrd.
In 2012, she again ran and lost to Manchin.She owns her own business, Fletcher Environmental Services, and is a graduate of West Virginia University, according to the website she used in her previous Senate run.
