Tomblin aide picked to lead Vision Shared
An aide to Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has a new job.
Cory Dennison, the governor's director of intergovernmental affairs, has been tapped to lead Vision Shared, a non-profit economic development organization.
Dennison has served as a member of Tomblin's senior staff for four years. His relationship with Tomblin began 12 years prior, when Dennison served as a Burke Fellow to Tomblin, who was serving as Senate president.
"Cory has been a critical member of my team and while I'm sad to see him leave, I'm excited to continue my work with him in his role as CEO and president of Vision Shared," Tomblin said. Dennison is a native of Cabell County and graduated from Marshall University and West Virginia University College of Law.
