BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — Officials at Beech Fork State Park are looking for volunteers to help with an annual spring cleanup before the 2012 camping season gets under way.
Volunteers have collected more than 50 tons of trash and hundreds of tires in three past cleanups, and assistant superintendent Dillard Price hopes for a good turnout on April 7.
Price says families and groups can participate in what he say is both a fun and productive day at the park near Barboursville.
Volunteers who register in advance can camp for free April 6-7.
Boots and work clothes are recommended, and lunch is provided.
