Ronald Radcliff, executive director of WorkForce West Virginia under then-Gov. Joe Manchin from 2005 to 2009, died at his Marion County home Tuesday, the Fairmont Times West Virginian reported.
Radcliff, 73, was employed by the National Security Agency from 1961 to 1967, the City of Fairmont and Marion County from 1967 to 1970, for four private colleges from 1970 to 1972, and by Eastland Enterprises, Valley Lanes and the Atrium, all in Fairmont, from 1973 to 1982. He was with Nationwide Insurance from 1982 to 2003.
Survivors include Judith Wilson Radcliff, his wife of 52 years; son Ronald Edward Jr. and his wife Audrey Radcliff of Atlanta, Ga.; and daughter Michelle Radcliff Douglas of Charleston.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford Funeral Home, R.C. Jones Chapel, 1410 Country Club Road, Fairmont.
