Nominations sought for W.Va. top volunteers

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Nominations are being accepted for the 2013 Governor's Service Awards.

The awards are coordinated by Volunteer West Virginia. They recognize individuals, families and organizations for outstanding service and commitment to their communities.

Winners will be recognized at a state volunteerism conference on Aug. 7 in Charleston.

Nomination forms are available at www.volunteerwv.org and must be submitted by April 12.
