HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Two events in Huntington this week will honor the working women of World War II.
"Thanks! Plain and Simple" executive director Ann Montague says a state office building in Huntington will be renamed the "Rosie the Riveter Building" on Tuesday.
The group dedicated to promoting West Virginia Rosies also plans several activities at Huntington's Pullman Plaza Hotel on Wednesday.
Among the activities are the viewing of a documentary about West Virginia Rosies and a chance to meet some of them afterward. Montague says about two dozen Rosies are expected to attend.
