CLARKSBURG -- Federal marshals have arrested a woman accused of helping an inmate escape from a prison camp in West Virginia.
The U.S. Marshals Service said Jamie Angel Clayton was arrested in New York City. An arraignment in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg has not yet been scheduled.
The search for the inmate, Eugene Nicholas Cobbs, 42, is continuing. The marshals service says Cobbs walked away from FCI Morgantown on April 10.
Cobb crashed a small plane loaded with drugs in Wheeling and fled in 2004. He was captured in 2008 in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for conspiracy to distribute and for flying without an airman's certificate.
