MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- More than 50 exhibitors are attending the WVU Healthcare Expo in Morgantown, where people can get a variety of free or low-cost assessments.
The event runs 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Morgantown Mall, and includes mammograms from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Experts can discuss issues such as lung health, sleep issues, weight management, stroke, and mental health and substance abuse.
People can get evaluated for their risk of diabetes and stroke, or to have their body fat and body mass index measured.
There will also be screenings for blood pressure, bone density, cholesterol, glaucoma and lung function.
Exhibitors also offer a variety of cardiac care, including electrocardiograms, and varicose vein and circulation consultations.
Flu shots are $25 but free with a Medicare card.
