Calendar highlights historic recreation in W.Va.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Division of Culture and History is offering a 13-month calendar highlighting the Mountain State's sports and recreation opportunities.

The State Historic Preservation Office has published the "Historic Recreation" calendar. It is free to the public while supplies last.

Officials say each month in the calendar focuses on a different historic building, camp, state park, trail or structure in West Virginia

It includes historic football fields and basketball courts, hunting and fishing lodges, swimming pools, golf courses and other recreational sites.
