Contract extended for 900 workers at WVU Hospitals
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - A union representing more than 900 workers at WVU Hospitals has agreed to a contract extension while negotiations continue.
The Dominion Post (http://bit.ly/1ktV28X) reports WVU announced the extension Friday involving members of Local 814 of the Laborers' International Union of North America. The current contract will be extended through Jan. 31 while negotiations continue on a new three-year contract.
Negotiations are set to resume Jan. 6.
The union represents a broad range of jobs at WVU Hospitals.
