Everyone supports reasonable regulation. But the costs of the regulatory state are impairing the American economy - and thus hurting all Americans.
Anybody who wants economic recovery should take complaints about overregulation seriously.
Consider that just one law, the "Affordable Care Act" that Democrats passed in 2010, is 2,400 pages long. Regulators are still drafting the rules for putting it into effect in 2014.
Regulatory costs are not going to go down. It is obvious, therefore, that health care costs won't either.
