Americans need to reclaim freedom
I've heard leaders say "the buck stops here," but when that buck arrives at their door, they are conveniently not at home.
Responsibility somehow fits better on someone else, and we blame others for our mistakes. This is done far too often.
When should our elected officials take this responsibility and be held accountable for their own messes? When any decision is made that affects the people they are leading.
It is time for all of us to speak up and make sure those we elect in November know that we are the ones who put them there, and, if they are not doing the job they need to be doing, then we will vote them out the next election.
Every American citizen should pay attention to those we have given the power of speaking for us and casting our votes on the important issues that come before both houses of Congress.
Unfortunately, this administration chose to shut a lot of those votes down by signing executive orders. Our voices were not heard.
If Americans and let their voices be heard in November by casting their ballots, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We will be responsible for four more years of tyranny and oppression.
Our country must turn around, turn back to our Judeo-Christian principles, and restore the Constitution - along with the freedoms we have allowed to be incrementally removed from our way of life by those who want to change America into a place of socialist, communist and Marxist rule.
We say, "No you don't, not this time."
The administration has exposed its agenda. For this we say, "Thank you for waking us up."
We are not Russia, China or the Middle East. We are the United States of America - the land of the free and the home of the brave.
We are one nation, believers in one God, and we've finally found our voice.
