America was born out of a desire for all men to live free from tyranny and oppression. But, it was not without price. Many battles were fought, and lives lost, to accomplish this goal.
These brave forefathers, with raw determination, vowed to never again live under such oppression.
Many were Christians, but those who weren't recognized the truths found in the Holy Bible. They believed, if their goal for freedom was to be achieved, the foundation for a new nation should be the word of God - the Judeo-Christian principles.
Therefore, out of that belief came the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. Many have come against these principles, but in spite of their desire to shred these sacred documents by tearing down their foundation, these principles have withstood all their opposition.
This has caused America's enemies to accelerate their agendas. They successfully placed people in leadership positions, as we went about our daily lives, oblivious to what was happening in our country.
We have taken these freedoms for granted, fallen asleep through complacency and apathy, thereby enabling this opposition to gain a foothold, allowing them to set their agendas in motion.
Many of us have awakened to this different America, and others are beginning to open their eyes. The type of government that is emerging and engulfing our country, along with issues surrounding it, is like watching history repeating itself - as in the days of Stalin, Hitler, Khrushchev and others.
It didn't work then, so what makes anyone think it will work now?
While our military was busy defending America's borders from those who hated us, we had enemies within working hard to further their plans of destroying our freedoms, our pursuit of "life, liberty, and happiness," by taking us down a pathway which is leading to a socialistic, Marxist, communistic form of government.
Is it possible that history is being revisited in our own backyards? May we have courage like our forefathers, to take our stand against oppression, and may God have mercy on us.
