August recess in Congress has the U.S. Senate back in their districts talking about the important work they have done in Washington, D.C. over the past few months. Harry Reid recently announced to his constituents in Nevada that he has been busy handpicking a candidate to run for U.S. Senate in West Virginia.
The same Sen. Reid that supports the EPA's War on Coal and believes that "coal makes us sick" pushed thru Obamacare that will force government into your health care decisions and believes a big federal government have the solutions to our nation's woes.
The leader of the Democratic Party in West Virginia, Larry Puccio, acknowledges that Harry Reid and President Obama have taken the reins in the efforts to find a candidate to support their agenda. Puccio said, "That's dealt with out of Washington, - we don't handle that."
The last thing West Virginia needs is a senator that will go to Washington to represent the views of Sen. Reid, President Obama and their allies. It's time to send Shelley Moore Capito to the U.S. Senate to retire Sen. Harry Reid and his counterparts.
