Despite school administrators' concerns nationwide, Rasmussen Reports that Americans strongly believe that Christmas should be a part of public schools. They feel just as strongly that religious symbols should be allowed on public property.
According to the latest national telephone survey, 75 percent of American adults think Christmas should be celebrated in public schools, Just 15 percent disagree while 10 percent are not sure.
It is rare to see a nativity scene displayed, and Christmas has become a season of retail celebration and many novelty cartoon characters.
Why do so many choose to send holiday greeting cards and season greetings as opposed to cards that recognize the true reason for the celebration, the birth of the Christ child?
