Some people want to have it both ways
Daily Mail editorials frequently lament the Obama administration's "war on coal." Presumably, one reason for caring about this is the desire to protect coal miners and their families from unemployment.
Yet when Congress allowed benefits to expire for 1.3 million Americans, the editorial page applauded, even though this means 544 people in Logan County, the heart of coal country, are losing benefits over the holidays.
It looks like some people want to have it both ways.
