Sophomore Breanna Propst scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead St. Albans to a 29-24 win over Beckley in girls basketball action Thursday night.
The Red Dragons (2-2) trailed by two entering the fourth quarter, but limited the Flying Eagles (1-3) to just two points in the final period.
For Beckley, Kavita Francios led the way with five points.
Parkersburg 69, Hurricane 58 - Imani Ward poured in 32 points to lead the Big Reds (3-2) on the road.
Megan Morrison chipped in with 16 points and Kennedy Walker added 10 for Parkersburg.
For Huricane (1-2), Abby Watson scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while Callie McClanahan added 15 points and Taneisha Sturdivant 14 rebounds.
Scott 50, Mingo Central 43 - The Skyhawks improved to 3-1 with the home win.
Jaimee Dotson led Scott with 15 points, followed by Ali Whitman with 13.
For Mingo (1-3), Kiearia Hammond had a team-high 10.
Princeton 64, Nitro 41 - Mackenzie Akers made four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 25 points as the undefeated Tigers rolled to the road win over the Wildcats.
For Nitro (3-2), Savannah Shamblin had a team-high 13 points and Kelli Douglas added 10.
Marissa Mullins had five of her 3-point attempts to score 22 points for Princeton (3-0).
