CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The St. Albans baseball team looked to be in good position for a victory in Myrtle Beach, S.C., leading 3-0 in the third inning before the offense went cold, not scoring for the next six innings.
The Red Dragons (5-3) gave up the lead, but in extra innings, Red Dragons found their offense to earn a wild 7-6 victory over Watertown (N.Y.) at the Mingo Bay Classic on Wednesday.
With the game tied at 3 in the ninth inning, the Red Dragons scored four runs on a two-run single from Josh Burks and run-scoring singles by Joey Dodrill and Clark Bryant and held on after Watertown (1-1) scored three runs.

Conway S.C. 14, South Charleston 1 - The Black Eagles' offensive woes continued in a five-inning loss at the Mingo Bay Classic.
South Charleston managed just three hits, two of which came of the bat of senior catcher Jon Cline. Jonathan Pauley had a double and RBI for SC.
Powhaten, Va. 10, Hurricane 0 - The Redskins only managed five hits in getting shutout at the Mingo Bay Classic.
Austin Hensley had two hits for Hurricane (8-2).
For Powhaten, Zach Bartlett drove in three runs.
Cazenovia N.Y. 2, Charleston Catholic 0 - Mark Dewan had two hits, including a pair of RBI to lead the Lakers (1-1) to the Mingo Bay Classic win.
Connor Golden, Nelson McKown and Thad Jameson had two hits each for Catholic (6-2).
Herbert Hoover 18, Wayne 2 - The Huskies continued their torrid offensive pace, remaining unbeaten with the road win.
Hoover (9-0) pounded out 15 hits, led by Corey Bird and Tristan Fields with three hits each, followed by Cody Bowen and Austin Thomas with two apiece.
