WEATHER HAS affected many schedules, but it wasn't rain.
Since March 13, the first day games can be played, only five days were at or above the average temperature according to the National Weather Service in the Charleston area.
Of the 22 potential game days - not counting Sundays - only eight were above 52 degrees and three of those were Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
As for precipitation, the average rainfall for March 13-April 16 is 2.46 inches and only 1.48 inches were reported by the NWS.

THE ED CARTER Memorial Tournament is set for this weekend at St. Albans' Loftis Field and George Washington's Floyd B. Wilcox Field.
On Friday at St. Albans, Parkersburg South faces St. Albans at 1 p.m., Independence plays Parkersburg South at 4 p.m. and then plays St. Albans at 7 p.m.
On Friday at GW, Riverside faces GW at 1 p.m., Hurricane and Riverside play at 4 p.m. and GW and Hurricane clash at 7 p.m.
The third- and second-place games, as well as the championship on Saturday are set for St. Albans beginning at 11 a.m.
