HURRICANE, W.Va. -- Huntington outslugged Spring Valley in Tuesday's Mountain State Athletic Conference consolation game at Lola Meeks Memorial Field.
The Highlanders received at least one hit and one RBI from every starter in a 16-14 victory.
Huntington (20-9) scored four runs in the seventh, including RBI singles from Joey Mundy and Ben Gibson and an RBI double from No. 9 hitter Jack Brunetti to provide much-needed insurance in the seventh.
Elijah Wellman had a grand slam in the fifth to tie the game at 10 for the Timberwolves (10-13).

St. Albans 12, Clay County 0 - Dustin Turley led the Red Dragons, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBI.
Autsin Harless gave up three hits in five shut-out innings for the win. Jimmy Brogan was 1-for-1 for Clay County in the loss.
Poca 6, Point Pleasant 5 - Evan McClanahan drove in the game-winning run with a double in the bottom of the ninth to give the Dots (21-7) the home win.
