Curtis Price, athlete and community leader, dies at 63
Curtis Price starred at Charleston High School where his team took the 1968 state championship with an undefeated record. He and three teammates went on to play at West Virginia University. Price died Thursday at age 63 after a long battle with cancer.
After his career at WVU,Price became the country's youngest head basketball coach at West Virginia State College when he was 21. He was named the state's top college coach in 1973.
