Eight players shoot below 150 on Thursday to win the Mid-Atlantic Junior Golf Classic at the Edgewood Country Club in Sissonville.
Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia brought their eight best junior golfers to the par 71, 6,810-yard course to determine bragging rights in the Classic.
Four of Maryland's eight participants finished the 36-hole, one-day event under par, with Nathan Tenpas shooting an even-par 71 in the first 18 and a 5-under 66 in the second.
Virginia's Mark Lawrence was the only golfer among the 24 participants to have two rounds under par, shooting a 67 and a 66 for a 133.
West Virginia, however, struggled mightily, with none its players shooting under par and finishing with a team score of 899 - 51 strokes behind winner Maryland.
