URBANA, Ohio - Asia Greenleaf had 26 points, 16 rebounds, eight steals and four blocked shots on Monday night to lead the West Virginia State University women's basketball team to an 82-72 Mountain East Conference overtime victory over Urbana (10-3, 7-2 MEC).
The victory moves the Yellow Jackets (11-4, 7-2) into a second-place tie with Urbana in the MEC standings behind leader Glenville State.
Jordan Brock had 21 points and eight rebounds, Lexy Carson added 18 points and seven boards and India Taste had 11 points and seven rebounds.
State overcame the performance of DeVonyea Johnson and Kate Francisco, who combined for 34 points and 31 rebounds in the loss.
Charleston 76, Notre Dame 65 - LeAnne Ross had 22 points and Nichole Perry added 19 to lead the University of Charleston over Notre Dame at South Euclid, Ohio.
Chyress Lockhart scored 14 points for the Golden Eagles (9-4, 5-4 MEC), who moved within one game in the loss column of the Eagles (8-4, 5-3).
Molly Ritz had 14 points to lead Notre Dame, which also received 11 points from Erin Entinghe and 10 from Martha Nagbe.
The UC women return to action at 2 p.m. Saturday when they face the University of Virginia at Wise at Eddie King Gym.
