CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- St. Albans fell behind in the first half, but rallied in the second half behind a 19-point effort by Jeff Seams, to defeat host Ripley 66-64 in boys high school basketball play Wednesday.
Taylor Clark had 17 points for the Red Dragons (2-5), while Cody Young added 15 points and Kevic Watkins 11.
For Ripley (1-7), Jakob Harrison scored 17 points, followed by Drew Harpold with 15 and Lukas Layhew with 14.
Spring Valley 66, Point Pleasant 46 - Josh Steele scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Timberwolves (3-3) at home. Jacob Kilgore added 16 points and Craig Herbert 10 for Spring Valley.
For Point Pleasant (5-5), Aden Yates netted 18 points, followed by Alex Somerville's 17.
