Ward, 22, was booked at 5:35 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. The native of Jonesboro, Ga., led the Herd in rushing in Holliday's inaugural season with 345 yards and one touchdown.
He had two of his four career rushing touchdowns and 75 rushing yards in the 2009 Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl win over Ohio, which earned him game MVP honors.
Last season Ward carried just four times for 20 yards, an average of 1.8 yards per game. He had a 12-yard carry in a road loss to Ohio and three carries for eight yards in a home win over UAB.
Friday, in the team's most recent spring football practice, Ward had 155 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Herd's intrasquad scrimmage.
The 20-year-old Warren, who was booked at 5:30 a.m., had the most charges levied against him: battery on police, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. The 5-10, 189-pounder from Miami played in 12 games (one start) last season. He made 26 tackles.
Wilson, a 5-10, 180-pounder from Miami, sat out last season as a redshirt. Wilson, 21, was charged with obstructing an officer and fleeing on foot and booked at 4:40 a.m.
Grace, a 6-3, 200-pounder from Cincinnati, enrolled in January. Grace, 19, was charged with obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct and booked at 3:45 a.m.
