CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Poca found itself in an early double-digit hole Tuesday night before a solid defensive effort helped fuel a second quarter rally en route to a 57-49 home win over Scott.
Down 22-10 in the second quarter, the Dots (11-10) limited the Skyhawks (9-13) to just one point in the final seven minutes of the quarter to end a six game losing skid.
Scott's dry spell helped the Dots knot the score at 23-23 at the half.
Noah Frampton paced Poca with 20 points, while Cam Cottrill added 11.
For Scott, Matt Dolan led all scorers with 26 points, followed by Cody Brown with 11.
Winfield 71, Ripley 47 - Zach Gunter's 25 points helped lead the Generals (14-7) to the home win.
Chris Turner added 12 points and Zach Fisher 10 for Winfield.
For Ripley (2-19), Jacob Haynes netted 14 points, while Casey Smith and Kade Harrison added 12 points apiece.
Greenbrier East 70, St. Albans 58 - Obi Romeo scored 20 points to lead Greenbrier East to the road win.
The Spartans held the Red Dragon (5-15) to 15 first half points, to take a 27-point lead at the half.
Josh Kiser scored 17 points to lead St. Albans, while Taylor Clark added 12 points and Quamise Carter 10.
Hurricane 79, Cabell Midland 48 - Henry Sorsaia tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds to help Hurricane (13-7) to the home win.
Sawyer Smith added 15 points, while Rasaan Harris picked up 11 assists and five steals for the Redskins.
Stephen Matthews led Midland (4-17) with 11 points.
