WVU NOW has 10 players committed to the 2012 recruiting class after four pledged in the past five days. Offensive lineman Tyler Orlosky, running back/cornerback Albert Reid, cornerback Da'Quan Davis and receiver Deontay McManus all picked WVU since June 22.
Orlosky, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound guard at St. Edward High, in Lakewood, Ohio, was first. He's rated as a four-star prospect by Scout.com and the 17th-best guard in his class. Rivals.com gave Orlosky three stars and ranks him No. 32 at his position.
The 5-10, 195-pound Reid chose WVU a day later.
He attends Friendship Collegiate Academy, in Washington, D.C., and has three stars from Scout.com and Rivals.com. He's ranked No. 57 among athletes by Rivals.com and No. 52 among cornerbacks by Scout.com.
Davis and McManus both picked WVU over the weekend while playing on the same team at WVU's 7-on-7 camp. The 5-11, 175-pound Davis, from Calvert Hall High, in Towson, Md., is ranked No. 40 among cornerbacks by Scout.com. The 6-1, 210-pound McManus is No. 14 among Rivals.com's receivers and No. 35 among Scout.com's receivers. He plays for Dunbar High, in Baltimore, and has four stars from both sites.
