LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) - Liberty will be making football history in 2016 when the Flames travel to Virginia Tech to play for the first time in Lane Stadium.
Liberty is a Football Bowl Subdivision team. It also announced some other future high-profile matchups on Monday.
Liberty will play Kent State in 2013 and West Virginia in 2015.
The Flames' coach, Turner Gill, said the games will bring national exposure to the Liberty program.
