Nitro (1-7) at Logan (5-3) - With its loss at Class AA Mingo Central last week, Logan is in must-win territory if they hope to reach the Class AAA playoffs. Running back Brynden Street (910 yards) and receiver/utility player Josh Rein (432 receiving yards) are Logan's top weapons, while Nick Brown (603 rushing yards) has equaled standout back Brayden Underwood's offensive output while Underwood has been laid up with a groin injury.
Winfield (3-5) at St. Albans (1-7) - The Generals have taken quick control of this series that began in 2008, having won four of five games. Winfield quarterback Toby Show has thrown for 1,312 yards, with 386 going to leading receiver Chris Turner.
Parkersburg (2-6) at Riverside (1-8) - Parkersburg is injury-depleted and struggles to defend the rush and the pass. Riverside, in hopes of closing a rebuilding year with a win, could benefit from the return of senior Will Jackson, who sat out last week with an injury. Jackson has 571 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Poca (1-7) at Sissonville (7-1) - The Indians need every win to assure themselves of home-field advantage in the first round of the Class AA playoffs. Fullback Dominic Walker is fifth among Class AA rushers with 1,088 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Mingo Central (6-2) at Herbert Hoover (2-6) - This became a heated rivalry when the Miners made their first trip to Falling Rock in 2011. Hoover faces an uphill battle, however, keeping up with Central's balanced offense, which is led by sophomore running back Deonte Joplin's 672 yards and six TDs. Junior Shaun Dotson leads the Huskies with 1,043 yards and 12 scores.
Symmes Valley, Ohio (5-4) at Buffalo (0-8) - The Vikings close their season with a visit to Putnam County, where junior Jordan Tucker continues to impress in an injury-plagued campaign for the Bison. Tucker has 1,174 yards rushing and 19 total touchdowns.
Other games include River View (3-5) at Lincoln County (0-8), Scott (3-5) at Robert C. Byrd (5-3), Van (3-5) at South Gallia, Ohio (5-4), Valley (8-0) at Midland Trail (4-4), Sherman (2-7) at Meadow Bridge (7-2), Wirt County (3-5) at Roane County (6-2), Clay County (2-6) at Calhoun County (0-9), St. Marys (8-0) at Ravenswood (5-3), Chapmanville (5-4) at Wayne (8-0).
