July 27--State police arrested a Monongalia County man Tuesday evening for the May hit-and-run death of Brenda "Susie" Kinsley.
West Virginia State Police Trooper J.R. Celapino said the warrant for the arrest of Larry Milik was obtained recently.
Milik, 49, was arraigned by Magistrate Sandy Holepit on a charge of hit and run causing death, a felony punishable by one-to-five years in prison.
She set bond at $250,000 cash/surety. Milik was taken to the North Central Regional Jail when he was unable to post bond.
Celapino said it was Milik's red Ford F-150 that state police impounded after Kinsley was found with crushed ribs on her left side, a broken left leg and a broken pelvis on National Church Hollow Road.
Kinsley was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, where she died several hours later. The accident was reported shortly after midnight May 15.
