Road work could result in temporary lane closures

The West Virginia Division of Highways will conduct pothole patching and paving on several area roads today.

Because of the work, temporary lane closures may be in effect.

In Kanawha County, the following projects are scheduled today:

- Interstate 77 northbound, between mile markers 124.5 and 125.5. Slow lane closed for patching between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

- Interstate 79 northbound, between mile markers 2 and 4 and between mile markers 14.5 and 15.5. Slow lane(s) closed for patching between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

- U.S. 60, from the Rand DOH garage to Burning Springs. Slow lane closed for patching from 8 a.m. onward.

- Craig’s Branch Road (C.R. 24/3). Alternating lane closures for patching between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

- Sissonville Drive (C.R. 21) from Rich Station to the antique store. Alternating lane closures for milling and patching between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

- West Main Street (C.R. 60/14, St. Albans). Alternating lane closures for patching between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

In Boone County, the following projects are scheduled today:

- W.Va 3 in the Orgas area. Alternating lane closures for patching between noon and 4 p.m.

- W.Va. 85 in the Rock Creek area. Alternating lane closures for milling and paving between 8 a.m. and noon.

In Putnam County, W.Va. 817 from the Kanawha County line to Bills Creek will undergo alternating lane closures for milling between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
