South Charleston man found guilty of first-degree robbery, wanton endangerment

By Andrea Lannom, Legal affairs writer

A Kanawha County jury found a South Charleston man guilty of attempting to rob an apartment and shooting at police officers.

Trial began earlier this week for Tyquan Antonio Livermon, 21, of Inland Lane. After about a day and a half of deliberation, the jury found him guilty of first-degree robbery and several counts of wanton endangerment.

The jury found him not guilty, however, of burglary by breaking and entering and entering without breaking.

According to previous reports, Livermon was arrested last August and accused of robbing a Southmoor Hills Apartments resident and shooting at officers who responded.

Prosecutors previously said Livermon broke into the apartment with two residents inside and he shot through a wall into a neighbor’s apartment.
