Jani Casdorph and her husband, of Scott Depot, have been camping at Holly River State Park for over 30 years, taking their children and now their grandchildren to the park. This group of deer stayed near the cabin area enjoyed goodies from their grandsons, Corey and David Casdorph.

Every year, a doe comes down and has her babies behind Blue Creek resident Amanda Eskew's house. The photo is of the doe's single fawn. Eskew says they would see the fawn almost every day. It would lay in the weeds on the hill behind the house, she said.

A set of twins lives in the woods behind Amanda Eskew's house. The twins' mother, like the other single fawn that inhabits the backyard, likes to visit. The does feel safe to bring their babies into the yard, Eskew says. "It's kind of like a playground for their babies," she said.
