Free blood pressure and cholesterol screening at UC

Faculty and students at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy, in cooperation with Wal-mart, are having a free blood pressure and cholesterol screening and education on health and wellness from 8 a.m. to noon Friday.

The cholesterol screening will provide the best information if the patient has not had food for 9 hours prior to taking the test.

The event will be at PharmUC Patient Care Clinic located on the first floor of the Robert C. Byrd Center for Pharmacy Education on the UC campus. The PharmUC Patient Care Clinic is a non-dispensing pharmacy located inside the University of Charleston's School of Pharmacy building.
