Celebrate and eat cupcakes at Rock Camp 4 Girls Appalachia's second annual Cupcake War to benefit the arts and female empowerment in West Virginia.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 301 Piedmont Rd, Charleston.
The event is free to enter, and cupcakes can be purchased for $3 for 1, $10 for 5.

Rock Camp 4 Girls Appalachia is a residential summer camp held at West Virginia State University. The summer camp operates at no cost to attendees and involves 60 to 80 girls, many of whom are from foster home or low-income backgrounds. All along the way, they learn important life skills in addition to music skills. It is fondly thought of as 'Girls' Empowerment Through Rock Music.'If you are interested in entering the free competition, contact rockcamp4girls...@gmail.com.
