Japanese braiding technique to be in spotlight

Kumihimo, a Japanese braiding technique, will be used to create friendship bracelets at several branches of the Kanawha County Public Library.

The free sessions for ages 6 to 11 will be offered 6 p.m. Thursday at Elk Valley, 6:30 p.m. April 11 at Cross Lanes, 6 p.m. April 25 at Riverside, and 6:30 p.m. May 16 at St. Albans.

All materials are provided. Classes are limited to 20 participants. Call the respective branch library for more information.
