Boone Memorial Hospital and the West Virginia Medical Institute are partnering to offer free diabetes education classes for the community from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday and April 12 and 19 in the upstairs conference room of Boone Memorial Hospital.
Lunch will be provided at no cost. Boone Memorial will have a limited supply of free shirts it will award to participants who attend all three sessions.
The sessions are part of the Everyone with Diabetes Counts (EDC) program, funded by Medicare and coordinated by WVMI.
