An 18th century History Alive presentation will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Wine Cellar Park.
The event will include demonstrations, storytelling and re-enactments. Beginning at 9 a.m., attendees may observe the life skills of Indians and those who lived on the frontier. Dianne Anestis will lead an interpretive walk at 9:30 a.m. as she discusses native plants. At 11 a.m. Doug Wood will portray a Cherokee chief in a presentation sponsored by the West Virginia Humanities Council.
Storytelling and demonstrations will be held noon to 3 p.m. featuring Tom Montgomery and frontier friends and Doug Wood and Indian friends.
