CHARLESTON, W.Va. - I had my first grilled burger of the season this weekend and it was a beauty in its simplicity.
Juicy patty chargrilled over an open flame with a slice o' melted American cheese, then dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion bathed in the almighty mayo-mustard-ketchup trifecta.
That classic condiment combination is hard to beat, but I do like to get a little saucy with my toppings from time to time - fresh guacamole, a garlicky hummus, a creamy salad dressing.
