Ten years into her job as executive director of Rea of Hope, Marie Beaver is as enthusiastic as ever about the program's mission to offer a home-like setting, structure and support to women who are trying to overcome addictions. Rea of Hope now has four properties and two programs in the East End and next month will celebrate having graduated 100 women.
Amanda Deitz serves as a case manager for women in the New Life program who are transitioning to independent living. Deitz can identify with them because she's a recovering addict who graduated from the program several years ago.
Haley Herron serves as administrative coordinator for Rea of Hope, and she is among the staff's members who were once residents of the program.
