The Kanawha Forum has announced its fall schedule for noon Wednesday concerts and luncheons.
The free concerts take place from 12:05 to 12:30 p.m. at Kanawha Presbyterian Church and are open to the public. Luncheons cost $10 per person and are by prepaid reservation.
This series features three concerts by young artists, all college-age students or younger.
Sept. 18— Bernard DiGregorio, viola; Ron Neal, piano. Menu: Chilled Cucumber Soup; Marinated Cauliflower, Olive and Caper Salad; Lemon Pecan Muffins; Mocha Mousse Puffs.
Sept. 25— Abebrum M. Schoonover, baritone; Jim Linderman, piano. Menu: Spicy Tomato and White Bean Soup; Fruit Salad with Yogurt-Honey Dressing; Herbed Zucchini Cheese Bread; Key Lime Pie.
Oct. 2— Young artists Mark Burdette and Adam Gillespie, trumpet; Ron Neal, organ. Menu: Potato-Leek Soup; Strawberry and Feta Salad; Soda Bread; Maple Walnut Pie.
Oct. 9— Young artist Sarah Ellen Riddle, soprano; Mark Smith, piano. Menu: Beefy Corn and Black Bean Soup; Caprese Salad; Onion Dill Muffins; Lemon Curd Tarts.
Oct. 16— Young artists West Virginia Treble Makers children's choir, Ilse Long, director; Gayle Rittenhouse, piano. Menu: Carrot Soup with Orange and Ginger; Autumn Apple Salad; Cream Cheese and Date Scones; Death by Chocolate.
